Dry Lake Flyover
Lake Spaulding in Nevada County California was drained in 2020 dam maintenance. Here is a flyover video from the inlet on Fordyce Creek.
With the drought looming so large in California, the apocalyptic view from this video is a bit staggering. I don’t believe that the lake is in danger of being this low on account of drought conditions, but it does paint an eery picture. It was hard to pass up the video op.
I have kayaked back to this spot in the last year and all of this terrain is deep underwater. Good for now.
Real Estate Drone Video Productions
Here are a few of the property videos that I have worked on for Serendipity Land.
The project starts with coordinates and maps. I film the location, both on the ground and in the air, then edit and produce the final videos for posting. Jannette at Serendipity Land has been great to work with over the last two years.
These types of productions require:
- pre-flight research to understand the topography and access points to remote properties
- on-site assessments for the safest approach and execution of flights
- creative decision making for the most effective visual communications.
